LORD CAT (8) turned in a sound effort last time but found one better at Yea over 1m, beaten 1.3 lengths. Nice alley and is sure to run well. RETROSPECTION (10) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on August 18 finishing eighth and beaten 11 lengths over 1m4f at Bendigo. Has switched to the Jason Bridgman yard. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. MR ZIGMUND (9) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 6 lengths when fifth in a 1m2f contest at Balnarring two weeks ago. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. ACHAEUS (3) finished second last start over 1m at Balnarring, beaten 4 lengths. Placed to advantage so expect a big run.
