EVEN THE WIND (1) turned in a modest performance when fifth last start over 1m at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths. That followed a good when resuming win at this track. Will enjoy a drop in class so he will prove hard to beat. SHARP STICK (4) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m1/2f at this track, beaten 1.75 lengths into fourth. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. DAPPER DUDE (6) was well fancied last start over 7½f at this track (Turf) when fourth, beaten 10 lengths. Great chance to atone. WE MISS ARLINGTON (8) returned from a break and was on turf for the first time last start when 7 lengths back in second over 7½f at this track. Will come on from that last run and can make his presence felt again.
