MYSTIC STORM (2) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at this track, beaten 2.75 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Has a solid second up record. Fitter and sure to run well. RAINY MOUNTAIN (5) settled well back last start and never threatened when 9 lengths from the winner in eighth over 5½f at this track (Turf). The engagement of V Santiago is noteworthy. Finds the right race this time and can turn things around. PALACE MAGIC (6) started at 9/2 last time but could only manage fourth, beaten 2.5 lengths, at this track over 6f. Better than the last run and is a top-three hope.
