CHARTED (5) is a nine-start maiden who finished eighth, beaten 7 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Turfway Park (Synthetic). Fitter and capable of taking this out. GRAND FESTIVAL (2) was in the money two starts back at Tampa Bay Downs but was unable to repeat the effort last time when eighth, beaten 9 lengths, at Tampa Bay Downs (Dirt) over 6f. Perfectly placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. BLACK RUSSIAN (9) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on July 30 finishing fourth and beaten 5 lengths over 6f at this track (Dirt). Definite top-three chance. LARRY'S LUNCHBOX (7) made progress last time out, finishing 12 lengths from the winner in second over 5f at this track. Looks to be in the right race so another bold effort is on the cards.
