SHARP STICK (1) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then was beaten 4 lengths when fifth over 1m at Oaklawn Park five-and-a-half weeks ago after being in contention on the turn. Has the class to figure prominently. ALIBI IKE (7) made progress last time out, finishing 6 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 6f at Turfway Park after being in the firing line on the turn. This doesn't look as hard so he is all set to build on that latest effort. DEFIANT MALICE (2) is fitter for two runs from a lay-off but yet to find best, the latest finishing eighth over 1m1/4f at this track (Dirt). Well placed in this contest. Deserves plenty of thought. THE RIDGE (4) is appearing for the first time. By Frosted and is out of the L Rivelli stable. Worth watching for a betting push.
