CASSIEL (2) has been in the placings at both runs this prep, most recently a closing third over 6f at Kembla Grange. Big chance to break through. CRYPTONIC (4) recorded a strong maiden win over 5f at Wyong last time, getting there by 1.2 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Looks well placed and he is a great chance to go back-to-back. DON'T DOUBT MERLIN (1) pushed forward and went on to record a determined win last start by 0.7 lengths over 5½f at Wyong. Nicely placed to figure in the outcome. MISSILE SEEKER (5) returns after a lay-off of four-and-a-half months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 5½f at Nowra. Yet to win when resuming but generally runs well with two minor placings from three tries. Worth plenty of thought.
