DECIMUS (7) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when sixth, beaten 6 lengths, over 7½f at Rosehill. Has the talent to figure prominently. MARSABIT (4) was ridden quietly then picked up fairly well in the straight and finished 4 lengths away in seventh last time out over 6½f at Canberra two-and-a-half weeks ago. Steps up in distance. Solid top-three chance. TOM CRUISING (9) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Kembla Grange, beaten 4.5 lengths into fifth. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. WEMBANYAMA (2) has been freshened since finishing sixth over 7f at Warwick Farm. Kept up to the mark with a recent Hawkesbury trial. One of the main contenders.
