Group 3 winner AUGUST RAIN (2) has three wins and two minor placings from five races this campaign. Scored last start by 2.75 lengths in Group 3 grade at Century Mile over 1m2f after being prominent upon straightening. Beautifully placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. WESTMINSTER (6) hasn't been far away lately including a last-start second over 6½f at this track. Over the longer journey he looks tough to beat. CLASSY CITY (3) ran fourth at his latest appearance over 1m2f at Century Mile, clocking in 7 lengths from the winner. Must be respected. TOUGHERTHANTHEREST (8) went forward and gave a great sight when second over 1m1/2f at Listed level at Emerald Downs (Dirt) last time out. Is yet to miss the frame from three starts this campaign, including a win. Must be respected.
