MAKENA'S JOY (5) has filled a minor placing at both runs to date, the latest when beaten 5.5 lengths into third over 6½f at Listed level at this track. Well placed and sure to measure up. MISS LARUE (3) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then she settled well back and was beaten 17 lengths when fourth in a 6½f contest at this track five-and-a-half weeks ago after being in the firing line on the corner. This doesn't look as hard so she is set to turn things around. ANSTRUTHER (4) has started twice, running a good third on debut then finishing fifth, beaten 18 lengths, last time over 6½f in stakes class at this track. Senior rider aboard this time. Strong figure from the debut is the right form reference. ZENARI (1) turned in a moderate debut over 6½f at Listed level at this track on August 26 when she was safely held in fourth, 13 lengths from the winner. Plenty of scope for improvement. One of the hopes.
