CRATER LAKE (8) turned in an eye-catching run last start over 1m2f at Seymour, dropping out early before coming home with a powerful run to finish third. Look for another barnstorming finish. JUSTIFIED AT LAST (10) is still a maiden after nine starts. Managed to find the placings at Tatura two starts back before finishing fifth over 1m2 1/4f at Moe last start. Should be in the mix. VAN GERWEN (5) has been in the betting recently but hasn't managed to live up to market expectations. Most recently finished fourth over 1m1 3/4f at Yarra Valley, beaten 5.5 lengths. Can play a big role in the outcome. DIBALTA (1) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 1m2f at Stawell. Looks to be in the right race so expect another big run.
