EL LAGO (11) showed little early speed and was always well back last start when eighth, beaten 6 lengths, over this journey at Wagga. Steps up a level but he is up to the task. CLIFF HOUSE (3) finished fifth when resuming two runs back then progressed nicely last time out to score by half a length as favourite over 1m at Albury when he came from a long way back on straightening. Ideally placed and is sure to play a major role. OFFSPRING (8) turned in a fair race when resuming then improved second up to score by a nose over 7f at Wagga. Fitter again, extra journey suits. Expected to run well. UNIQUE PRINCE (7) was beaten 7 lengths into seventh in a 1m2f contest at Wagga last time out. Well placed to make amends.
