ECHO CHROME (15) finished out of the money two starts back then he was never in contention and was beaten 14 lengths when ninth over 4f130yards at Moruya eight days ago. Must raise the bar but he has the talent to test this line-up. PROPHET'S MAGIC (8) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 2.75 lengths when fourth in a 7f contest at Wagga a week-and-a-half ago. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. MAJOR DESIRE (12) was in the firing line on the turn and finished second last time over 6½f at Canberra, beaten 1.1 lengths. Finds a tougher race but a win is not out of the question.
