WEST BANK (7) progressed nicely last time out to finish just half a length from the winner in second over 7f at this track after being in the firing line on the corner. Looks well placed so expect another big run. STAR PERFORMANCE (4) is still a maiden after 13 starts. Could only manage to finish fifth last time out over 5½f at this track (Synthetic) following a minor placing at this track (Synthetic) when fresh from a lay-off the run prior. Cannot be left out of calculations. IRON SHIELD (8) is a nine-start maiden who finished fourth, beaten 4 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 7f at this track (Dirt). Will derive great benefit from that outing and deserves consideration. NEW BABY (5) could only manage to finish sixth, beaten 7 lengths, at her latest appearance over 7f at this track (Dirt). Worth including in this suitable contest.
