FLY THE W (2) showed good early pace last time and battled on gamely to finish just a neck from the winner in third over 1m1f at this track (Synthetic). Has the ability to build on that encouraging effort last start. SPIRIT ANIMAL (7) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by 0.1 lengths over 1m1f at this track (Synthetic). Fitter for that last hitout and he is a major player again. THE BEST DISTANCE (4) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 4.5 lengths when fifth in a 1m1f contest at this track four weeks ago after being in the firing line on the corner. Has the class to find the winners' list. TIDAL FORCES (6) did a great job to score by 1.5 lengths over this course and distance when when resuming from a break last start. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals.
