MARIAN CROSS (1) stepped out on her debut over 5f at this track (Turf) a month ago and finished fifth, beaten 1.75 lengths. Big chance with race experience now on board. LAURISTON (10) remains a maiden after three runs. Met with plenty of support last time but could only manage to finish fourth over 1m1/2f at this track (Turf). Among the top chances in what looks a most suitable race. CURLIN'S GIRL (6) showed good speed and fought on for third over 1m at this track (Dirt) last time. Is going well with three minor placings from as many runs this campaign. Capable of going well. HELLO HOLLYWOOD (2) faced the starter for the first time and finished sixth last start at this track (Turf) over 7½f, beaten 4 lengths. Plenty of scope for improvement.
