KIRSTEN (7) resumes from a lay-off of five-and-a-half months. Looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 6½f at Ballina. Should present well following a recent trial win. Has ability and can get off the mark. RUSSIAN INN (10) did little and finished 6 lengths from the winner in ninth over 4f at Coffs Harbour last start, a less impressive effort than her fifth at this track the run before. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. QUEENBEEL (9) was last at the races when she finished eighth over 1m1/2f at this track on October 24. Makes plenty of appeal. MR VILLA (5) was prominent at the turn and finished second last start over 6f at Tuncurry, beaten 2.25 lengths. Placed to advantage so expect a forward showing.
