ZELGARIA (1) is a handy type who resumes after a break of six months. Only appeared once last prep when he finished eighth over 6f at Doomben, beaten 6 lengths. Fitter for two trials, filling a minor placing at his most recent appearance. Faces a far less daunting assignment this time. Bold showing expected. SUPIDOMAN (4) continued the good recent form when he finished just 1.1 lengths away in third last time out over 5f at Ballina. Nice draw here and should be in the finish again. BRAVELY (3) was too good for a maiden field when resuming last start over 5f at Grafton, scoring by a long neck. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Brodie Loy was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. Harder here but should be involved in the finish. THE ASTRONOMER (2) finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 5f190yards at Grafton, beaten a long neck. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is capable of a big performance.
