TOES IN THE WATER (5) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 2.5 lengths away in fifth last time out over 7½f at Rosehill. Coriah Keatings gets the best out of this three-year-old filly. Will enjoy a drop in class so she is one of the main contenders. KENICHI (4) turned in a strong performance when resuming when in the money at Hawkesbury but disappointed last time when 17th, beaten 16 lengths, at Rosehill over 7½f. Jean Van Overmeire gets the best out of this four-year-old gelding. This doesn't look as hard so he will be hard to beat. LYSANDER (8) settled well back then made a little ground and finished 6 lengths away in fourth last time out over 6f at Sapphire Coast a week-and-a-half ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Among the chances. MOUNT HOTHAM (11) finished 2.7 lengths away from the winner last time at Albury on soft going and drops in the weights. Settles back early but winds up late. Can run on into the finish.
