SHELSTEIN (11) settled in the leading division on debut last start but wilted close to home and finished fourth, beaten 1.4 lengths, over 6¼f at Canterbury. Open to improvement and looks a serious contender. MIDNIGHT AFFAIR (8) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 2 lengths away in fourth last time out over 6f at this track. Finds a nice race and can play a significant role. INDIAMO (2) is a three-start maiden who finished fourth after being in the firing line on the bend at his most recent outing over 5½f at Wyong. Expected to feature in the finish this time. SIMPLY NUTBUSH (4) debuted two-and-a-half weeks ago when he finished seventh over 5½f at Warwick Farm, beaten 3.5 lengths. Top-three chance with that run under his belt.
