DON'T DOUBT MERLIN (4) impressed when successful as favourite on debut over 4½f at this track two-and-a-half weeks ago. Likely improver who should run well again. SPINOSAURUS (1) returned from a break last start and raced on the speed before kicking strongly to score by a head over 5f at Wagga. Likely to be in the finish again. STAR DIESEL (2) returns from a lay-off of five months and did win when resuming last time in work over 5f at Hawkesbury. Placed in a recent trial. Capable of playing a major role. SAPPHIRES SON (5) faded right out of it last time over 7½f at Muswellbrook after showing good early speed and leading for much of the way, eventually finishing ninth. Sure to give a sight.
