CHO OYU (1) closed off strongly last start to get up for second, beaten half a length, over 6f at Eagle Farm when coming back from a lay-off. Sure to go well again. EXPLICABLE (4) is yet to find the frame in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when tenth over 1m1/2f at Ipswich after he got a long way back. Has further improvement to come and is among the leading chances. ROCK LOBSTER (20) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 6 lengths when sixth over 6f at Toowoomba three weeks ago. Taking on a better line-up this time but she is up to the challenge. ARATIRI (13) finished third at Ipswich two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 1m1/4f at Doomben, finishing 5.5 lengths back in sixth. Nicely placed to bounce back.
