CONNEWARRE (1) knuckled down strongly to get within one length of the winner in second last start over 6½f at Eagle Farm. Strong record with Olivia Kendal in the irons, including a win. Likely to feature. LION CLASS (3) went back early from his wide draw over 6f at Doomben last time but hit the line strongly to finish fifth. Outdashed but got home well and looks suited by the extra ground. Expected to be doing best work at the finish. FAT FINGERS (14) scored at her most recent appearance, getting home by 1.3 lengths over 6½f at this track. That continued the solid form this campaign, with two wins from five runs.
