STANISLAUS (2) ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 6f at Ipswich after being prominent at the corner. Has the talent to figure prominently. GREAT BARRIER REEF (4) finished third over 5½f at Doomben at his most recent appearance on November 9. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. RUSH HOUR (5) made progress last time out, finishing 3 lengths from the winner in third when he made late ground at the end of 5f at Eagle Farm. Has the class to take care of this field. THELWELL (6) returns after a lay-off of five months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 5f at Sunshine Coast. Yet to win when resuming but generally runs well with four minor placings from seven tries. Can make his presence felt.
