SEMANA (5) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a lay-off on 12/10/2024, finishing 12th and beaten 5.5 lengths over 7f in the Alan Brown Stakes at Rosehill. Has ability and should be right in the finish. HARD TO SAY (6) has been kept fresh since filling a minor placing in the LR Bribie Hcp at Eagle Farm over 5f five weeks ago. Looks to be ticking over nicely judging by a recent trial win at Newcastle. Well placed here and is a strong each-way chance. HEDGED (8) tackled city class latest when seventh in the LR Razor Sharp Hcp at Randwick, finishing 2 lengths from the winner. Will appreciate a drop in grade. Should measure up. PRINCE OF BOOM (7) went forward from the low draw last start and sat on the pace before sticking on well to finish third over 5½f at Sunshine Coast. Worth noting James Orman goes aboard. Nicely placed to play a major role.
