GENERAL BOOM (1) is back after a break of 16 months. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing second at his latest appearance over 5f at Eagle Farm. Looks up to the mark following a trial win at Doomben. Rates on top and is a great chance to break through. SHALAA GOLD (11) showed good early dash last time out and led for most of the way before being claimed and finishing a head away in second over 5f at Hawkesbury. Well-placed and should be tough to rein in again. CAPITALEX (5) is a five-start maiden who looks close to breaking the duck after finishing in the placings at his last couple of runs, most recently when 0.8 lengths away in second over 5f at Caulfield Heath. Meets easier opposition this time. Has claims on his best form. INNERVISIONS (8) hasn't raced since finishing eighth at Warwick Farm and has been gelded in the break. Fitter for a fourth in a trial over 4f at Gold Coast. Tends to run well fresh having placed two times from two starts. Can run a bold race.
