CRAZY TRAIN (8) hasn't been far away lately, last time out finishing just 0.9 lengths back in fourth over 6f at Doomben. Backmarker who gets home hard. Leading contender. JAMAICAN RUMBA (10) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by 6 lengths over 5½f at Gold Coast Poly. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. PARTY SPIRIT (13) put the writing on the wall last start when she was in the firing line all the way and was beaten just half a length into third over 6f at Doomben. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. HODGSON (9) progressed nicely last time out to finish just half a length from the winner in second over 5½f at Gatton. No surprise to see him in the frame.
