Has a decent record at this trip with five minor placings from five tries and shapes as a key contender. DEMETRIOUS (2) is a five-start maiden who finished fourth, beaten 1.75 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5½f at Bunbury. Can come on from that run and looks a serious contender. SUMMER MOOD (8) has been in the placings at her last two starts, finishing second last time over 6f at this track. Looks well placed so expect another big run. DIXIE PRINCESS (6) gave a sight here last time, leading until late before finishing fourth and beaten 1.75 lengths over 6f. Has ability and a bold showing is expected.
