SAUVEGARDE (2) strode forward early from her wide draw when resuming last start over 5½f at this track then fought on gamely to finish second. Nicely placed to go one better. SAFE HUSTLE (6) proved too strong last start and scored by one length over 5½f at this track. Has three wins here at his home track. Should be poised just off the lead. Sure to be competitive. MAKE MINE SUPER (3) was popular when resuming last start over 5½f at this track but finished ninth, beaten 7 lengths. Has never missed the frame second up. Should be much improved.
