SAMURAI (2) built on a nice second two starts back at this track with a win as favourite over 1m at Seymour two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 1.3 lengths. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is good enough to play a major role. TENNESSEE KNIGHT (5) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished a neck away in fourth last time out over 7f131yards at this track after being prominent at the turn. Going up a level this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. SHEZAVIXEN (6) built on a nice second when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at Bairnsdale with a win over 1m1 1/4f at Kyneton three-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by half a length. Stepping up a level this time but on current form she is good enough to take this out. TURN IT UP TOMMY (7) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 5.5 lengths away in ninth over 7½f at Caulfield Heath. Well placed to bounce back.
