LATE ARRIVAL (9) was a determined maiden winner last time out, scoring by a neck over 7½f at this track. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Looks well placed and he is a leading contender. HARTMAN (11) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Sandown-Hillside, beaten 8 lengths into fourth after being in contention on the turn. Has the ability to put the recent run of form behind him. ELEGANCIA (12) will strip fitter for this after running below expectations when resuming at Bendigo, finishing 11th and beaten 7 lengths over 7f. Faces an easier assignment so she is perfectly placed to score. MY ROCA FELLA (4) produced a good run two starts back to finish second but failed to live up to market expectations last time when out of the placings at Moonee Valley over 1m2 1/4f. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he is one of the main contenders.
