GRINZINGER SUN (10) finished second, beaten a head, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5½f at Sale. Beautifully placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. FINALE (5) returns after four-and-a-half months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a seventh over 1m2f at Caulfield. Launched last prep with a minor placing at Pakenham over 7f. Ran seventh in a recent trial at Cranbourne. Has ability and is a solid chance. AXEDALE LADY (1) ran a fair race on debut last time out, beaten 4.5 lengths into sixth over 6f at Ballarat Synthetic on August 6. Right in this. JUSTIFIED AT LAST (7) returns after five months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a eighth over 1m at Caulfield Heath. Opened last prep with a minor placing at Stawell over 6½f. Can kick off with a bold showing.
