SAVEE (11) finished eighth when resuming two runs back then did a good job last start but found one better over 5½f at Kyneton, beaten only half a length. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. DARCEANDERMILL (4) strode forward early from his wide draw over 6f at Mornington last time, leading for much of the way before being claimed in the straight to finish second, beaten one length. Will take catching. HINATA (7) started this campaign with a win two runs ago. Less impressive last time out when tenth over 5½f at Bendigo, beaten 10 lengths. Tackling a more suitable race so she can play a big role. RED HAWK (1) finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 5f at Werribee when he did his best work late, beaten 1.5 lengths. Ready to go a couple better.
