THE SHAMAN (1) is closing in on a win after two consecutive placings, the latest a third over 6f at Tara. Should enjoy a good run just off the speed. One to consider. DANTE ALIGHIERI (5) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when ninth over 7f at Tara, beaten 10 lengths. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
