KELANOA (5) didn't do a bad job after being prominent at the corner to finish 2.75 lengths away in fourth last start over 5f at Eagle Farm. That followed a when resuming win at this track. Enjoys a drop in grade so she is a leading contender. ORSETTO (3) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 5¼f at Gold Coast Poly, beaten 2.5 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Has the talent to take this out. AURELIAN BLANC (7) has not been sighted since he scored over 6¾f at Warwick on June 15. Is lightly raced and looks forward enough after a solid recent trial. One of the contenders. EYE WANTED (9) is a consistent performer with two minor placings from three starts this campaign. Produced another good effort at her most recent run when second over 6f at Kilcoy. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
