HIT (14) is a last-start winner over 5½f at this track, showing good early speed on the occasion and leading throughout to score by half a length. Will prove very tough to beat. FLYING D'AMORE (7) was a dominant winner last time at Beaudesert over the same distance. Likely to feature. GIDGET (4) did little and finished 5 lengths from the winner in seventh over 6f at Kilcoy last start after being in contention on the turn, a less impressive effort than her when resuming sixth at Goondiwindi the run before. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. ABOVE THE WORLD (12) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when 11th over 6f at Toowoomba, beaten 22 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role.
