BILL NEEDLE (7) settled towards the rear and failed to threaten in the straight last start when fifth, beaten 6 lengths, over this course and distance. Ideally placed and is sure to play a major role. COLLABORATIVE (5) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing second and beaten only 2.5 lengths over 6½f at this track after being prominent at the bend. Won't find this as tough so he is a major player. MOMENT OF ZEN (2) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 9 lengths when fourth in a 5½f contest at this track four weeks ago. Beautifully placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. PERSEVERE (6) turned in a fine effort to win by 4 lengths at this track and distance last start in a far better run. Finds an easier assignment and can get the job done again.
