HOUSE OF SUSSEX (6) turned in a better effort to finish second last start, beaten a neck over 5f at this track. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Sure to be in the finish. STORMSTRIDE (8) raced below his best last time when sixth over 7f at this track, beaten 13 lengths. Nicely placed to bounce back. AMERICAN EAGLE (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m1f at Vaal, beaten 26 lengths into tenth. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
