SHARAPOVA (2) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 17 starts. Did a good job last start to finish third over 5f at this track, beaten 1.1 lengths. Nicely placed to figure in the outcome. BELOW DECK (1) made progress last start to finish second over 7f at this track. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. CRUZADOR (3) doesn't win very often but ran a strong race last time out over 5f at this track, finishing fourth and beaten one length. Craig Zackey is a key engagement. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. RUSSIAN EMPIRE (6) was sent out at 33/1 last time but ran above expectations and won over 6f at this track. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Not to be discounted.
