BEAU KALA (7) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Fairview All Weather, finishing second and only 2.25 lengths from the winner at the end of 7f. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. LADY WRITER (8) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just two wins from 22 starts. Was again denied last start when she found a couple better over 1m2f at Fairview All Weather. In the right race and there is no reason she cannot get the major prize. ARABIAN RED (10) got home by just a nose at her latest appearance over 1m at Fairview All Weather. Down in the weights this time so another bold run looks likely. CATCH YOUR BREATH (5) ran well below her best last time over 1m at this track, beaten 2.75 lengths into fourth at 9/2. Has a high cruising speed. Solid claims on best form.
