MASKED VIGILANTE (7) continued the good recent form when he finished just 1.3 lengths away in second last time out over 6f at this track. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Likely to feature. BRENDEN JAMES (2) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 6 lengths when seventh over 1m1f at this track eight weeks ago. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. MAKHACHEV (4) has not appeared since he finished 11th over 7f at Fairview All Weather on May 14. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
