COASTAL PATH (4) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just two times from 23 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 6f at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths. Best figures measure up nicely. Makes plenty of appeal. GUARDING THE WALL (8) finished 4 lengths from the winner in sixth last start over 6f at Kenilworth, an improvement on his tenth at Kenilworth the run before. Finds the right race this time and can take this out. RESURGENCE (1) broke through for his maiden win over 6f at Fairview All Weather last time, scoring comfortably. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Looks well placed and he should be in the finish again. WILLIAM THE FIRST (3) last appeared when he finished 13th over 1m at Kenilworth on February 12. Now under the care of new trainer Gavin Smith. Worth plenty of thought.
