Boasts a when resuming record of three wins and two placings from six starts. Looks a winning chance. CRANKSHAFT (4) did very well to fill a minor placing when resuming at Hawthorne but raced below expectations last time over 5½f at Hawthorne (Dirt), finishing eighth and beaten 10 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Nicely placed to turn things around. FASTNFURIOUS (2) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5f at Hawthorne, beaten 6 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Strips fitter and can take this out. IRISH DECLARATION (5) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5½f at Hawthorne, beaten 10 lengths. Fitter and sure to run well.
