OUR GAL LAYLA (3) is yet to break through after three career starts. Could only manage to finish sixth last time out over 6f at this track (Dirt) following a minor placing at this track (Dirt) over 5½f the run prior. Terrific chance to break through. RUSTY'S SUNRISE (7) was responsible for a solid effort last time out when second at Louisiana Downs (Dirt) over 1m1/4f, beaten 0.8 lengths. That run should have her rock-hard fit now. Yet to find winning form this prep but has been thereabouts with three placings from four starts. Bold showing expected. BABY JANE (8) hit the frame when resuming two runs back at Fairgrounds but couldn't back it up last start when eighth, beaten 6 lengths, over 6f at this track (Dirt). Likely improver with strong prospects. BROADWAY STAR (4) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths into fifth. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
