SPECIAL NOTE (4) returned last time with a solid third at this track (Dirt) over 5f after being prominent at the turn. Hard to beat in this suitable race. STRAIGHT MEADOW (1) finished seventh two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 5f at this track, beaten 7 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Nicely placed to find winning ways. SHE'S THE SHERIFF (3) missed the placings two starts back when resuming then ran a better race and finished 9 lengths away in fourth last time out over 5f at this track. Nicely placed to get the prize. ANSLIE'S GUMDROP (6) is back after a break of 15 months. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing second at her latest appearance over 5f at Fairgrounds (Dirt). Rates highly on best form and should be in the mix.
