UNDER THE PALAIS (7) is nearing a win, the latest effort a close second over 7f at Hamilton. Yet to break through at this trip but has registered five minor placings so no reason she cannot take this out. TAKE THE PRIZE (8) went forward last start over 6½f at Stawell and held on well for third, beaten 1.75 lengths. Looks well placed so expect another big run. ARTRESE (4) was prominent at the corner and ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 1m at Stawell after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. DIAMOND WAR (1) improved sharply last time out to score by 1.5 lengths over 7f at Horsham five weeks ago. Well placed to feature in the finish again.
