MAYAN (3) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 8 lengths when fourth over 1m at Sandown-Hillside a week-and-a-half ago after being in the firing line on the bend. Faces an easier assignment so he is sure to be prominent. FIGHTING ARROW (13) was in contention on the bend and ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 1m at Bendigo after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Looks well placed so expect another big run. ADRETT (10) pushed forward and was a determined winner by 2.75 lengths over 7f at Hamilton last time out. Comes down a level this time. Well placed and should be in the finish. UNDER THE ROCK (12) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 13 lengths away in 11th over 1m2 1/2f at Narrandera. Nicely placed to find some form.
