LIBERAMI (6) drifted well back last start before winding up strongly to finish second, beaten 1.5 lengths, over 5½f at Sale. Expected to prove tough to hold out again. DANCING DOLLY (12) is a two-year-old filly who is having her first run for the Archie Alexander stable. Hasn't raced since finishing in the placings at Te Aroha five-and-a-half months ago. Not seen at the trials but is in a nice race. Should feature in the finish. XAPHAN (8) is yet to break through after seven starts but not far off a win. Placed in a then missed the frame but was thereabouts last time over 6f at Mornington. Has ability and expected to feature. VIA VEGAS (7) showed good early dash when resuming last start and held on well to finish one length back in second over 6f at Wodonga. Meets some better types this time but this looks well within his grasp.
