EXCEED SPEED (9) was responsible for a solid effort last time out when third at Toowoomba over 1m, beaten 0. 8 lengths. Ben Thompson who has scored on him two times retains the mount. Should be hard to stop. NAVAL SEAL (7) found the line nicely to grab third last time out over 1m at Doomben. Should be winding up late again. CANBERRA LEGEND (8) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when second over 1m1f at this track after being in contention all the way. Should settle just off the speed despite the draw. Looks well placed this line-up so expect another big run. CUNNAMULLA FELLA (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Doomben, beaten 2. 25 lengths into seventh. Well placed to make amends.
