NIKAU SPUR (3) found the line nicely last start to get up for second over 1m2f at Toowoomba. Tackles a much tougher assignment but is still among the leading chances. ARTFUL GIRL (9) showed little early speed then came with a powerful run to finish second last time out over 1m3f at Doomben. Takes on a better field this time but she is likely to feature. KIRKEBY (5) settled well back from a wide draw last time then wound up strongly to finish fifth over 1m2f at Toowoomba. Will be putting in the big strides late. TAPILDOODLEDO (2) was beaten 4 lengths into eighth over 1m2f at Toowoomba last time out. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
