BROOKLYN BABY (1) hit the frame when resuming two runs back at Kyneton but couldn't back it up last start when eighth, beaten 4 lengths, over 5½f at Kyneton. Finds a suitable assignment and can turn things around. SPORTS CHOICE (6) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing third and beaten only half a length over 6f at Kilmore. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. SOMAURUM (2) was safely held when eighth last start over 6f at Ballarat, beaten 6 lengths after being in contention on the bend. That followed a good when resuming win at Hamilton. Perfectly placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. ZALINI (8) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by 3.5 lengths over 5¼f at Wycheproof. Finds a suitable race and can feature in the finish.
